ALS® Examination Eligibility Requirements
 
     
To sit for the ALS® examination,  
you must have completed one of the following:  
   
    One year of general office experience,  
    Completion of an accredited office curriculum, or
    Completion of a NALS Legal Training Course. 
   
Membership in NALS is not a requirement.
 
   

All examinations are given the first Saturday in March (in conjunction with the regional

conferences) and the last Saturday in September.
