All examinations are given the first Saturday in March (in conjunction with the regional conferences) and the last Saturday in September.

 

 

PP® Examination Eligibility Requirements

 

To sit for the PP® examination, you must have completed one of the following:

 

    Five years experience performing paralegal/legal assistant duties

 

A partial waiver (up to 1 year) of the five-year legal experience requirement may be granted for:

 

    A post-secondary degree,

    Other certification, or

    A paralegal certificate.

 

A partial waiver (up to 2 years) of the five-year legal experience requirement may be granted for:

 

    A paralegal degree.

 

Membership in NALS is not a requirement.
